Jay Ramsunder has been in the accounting and financial services sector since 1979. He joined, and subsequently became an active and leading member of the serveral leading professional organisations. These included LUASA (Life Underwriters’ Association of South Africa), IBC-SA (Insurance Brokers Council) and the MDRT (Million Dollar Round Table). The MDRT is an organisation that admits only leading and top brokers in South Africa. He was admitted to ILPA (Institute of Life and Pension Advisers) in 1989.
Jay worked his way up the ranks in the industry, to eventually become President of the IBC. During his tenure as IBC President, he led the merger of the three major broker organisations. The merger resulted in the formation of the FIA-SA (Financial Intermediaries Association of South Africa) in 2008. He has served both as a Director and as President of the FIA-SA as well. For a number of years, he also served as South Africa’s representative on the World Federation of Insurance Intermediaries. His appointment as a Director of INSETA is further recognition of his leadership in the sector. INSETA is the country’s national Insurance Sector Education and Training Authority.
Rahul Ramsunder has a background in commercial and business banking. He started at Standard bank, where he worked in the business division. He rose to serve as a Commercial Business Banker and soon became among the youngest Assistant Regional Managers. Apart from a B Comm degree, Rahul also has a Diploma in Financial Planning. He attends, and presents at financial services seminars regularly as part of his Continued Professional development.

Shavina joined the team in 1989, rising through the company ranks through our development program. She has a Diploma in Financial Planning and is also a Registered Representative of the company. Shavina looks after our clients’ short-term insurance portfolios as well as taking care of the general insurance business. She leads a team of highly dedicated, efficient and committed team that supports our clients with claims and query resolutions.
