Jay Ramsunder Financial Advisors cc (CK 1989/001669/23) was established in 1989 by Jay Ramsunder. Jay brought with him professional training and a decade of experience as an accountant, along with associated exposure, experience & success in the financial services sector. Our business vision & commitment to service excellence was the key driver to our organic growth over the first seven years. However, as the financial sector evolved, and our clients’ needs changed & grew, we saw the need to grow the organisation & expand our capacity & services offerings. This need forced a radical rethink on our approach and a decision was taken to expand businesses operations to keep pace with the growing market as well as meeting our clients’ expectations.
Business growth & succession planning has seen the company restructure over the years. Shavina Gujraj (Head: Short-Term / General Insurance) has been with us since inception. Rahul Ramsunder joined the business in 2005 after a successful career at Standard Bank. Rahul currently manages our Investments, Life Insurance, Employee Benefits & Pensions portfolios.
Our growth and expansion has given our team; and our client base; security in the knowledge that the company is looking at the big-picture – the long term business sustainability and commitment to serving our clients, well beyond the working career of the founder, Jay Ramsunder.
